Thanks for visiting our new Vermilion Parish Waterworks District No. 1 website. We are excited about our new website and look forward to your feedback. The District was created in 1986 under the provisions of Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:3811, for the purpose of providing water to rural areas of Vermilion Parish. The District is governed by a board of commissioners composed of five members appointed by the Vermilion Parish Police Jury.
